It's a restaurant, not a coffee place.
Great place great food typical HK Cafe style food. The parking is somewhat crammed. Might consider street parking.
Great fried rice.
Super restaurant nice place
Love this place. Little Chinese food, a little Chinese inspired American food, and a bit of everything else. Prices are reasonable. Try the braised rib for lunch. Great stuff!!
Go there with my friends a lot. Spare ribs, and their chicken wings are awesome! Prime Rib on Fridays ?
Delicious food
Not bad
Hong Kong style Chinese and American food. You will love this cafe if you love Chinese American style food. Like Steak or chow mein. You can get the best of both world. Make sure to order of there Hong Kong style pan cake! They are delicious!
This is a great spot for lunch, dinner or a casual bite. It has an extensive menu with both affordable and pricier options, also has a wine list for date night. You can order either Western or Asian food options. The servers are very friendly and attentive, they might miss some details (like providing spoons + extra napkins) but just ask and they'll be happy to provide them. Overall a very nice spot with good music for dining alone or with a group. It gets really busy for weekend lunch and dinner. Bonus: was pleasantly surprised by a FREE dessert which arrived with the check :)
Food is ok, but they have some really hard to find ultra expensive wine bottles on display.
Good food reasonable prices
Just another HK Cafe style joint in Alhambra which I think stands out from the others. Got the double grill dish (pork chops and sole fish) pretty ordinary, took them a few minutes to prepare but I was satisfied they did because I know it was fresher. Will come back!
Food is good. Price competitive. Parking is limited. Unfortunately, service is extremely slooow. Male staff seems to have bad attitudes. One of our party had to go to the cointer to get our menus!
My favorite out of all the Asian Cafe places in Alhambra. Usually not too crowded with awesome food. There red wine braised short rib is super tender and I'm usually full from just the half serving. Wontons are consistently the best as well as there clay pot rice.
Smelled nice they brought my drinks and never came back to take my order.
Good food, & price. Servers are very nice.
Try the red wine braised ribs, mmmmm
Good luck getting your food on time. Placed an order over the phone and it was suppose to be ready in 15 mins. Got there after 20 mins and waited another 10 mins just to be told it'll be another 5 mins
Our go to place for late night Hong Kong style cafe food. I like the beef Wellington, which takes about 15-20 to make, and the Hong Kong pancake. All of the other classic dishes like the chow fun are always good too. The only thing we had that we didn’t like too much was the hainanese chicken.
I be eating cafe spot for years and years... The food is good Severs is excellent too.
Great hong kong style chinese food. It opens late and the food id great
I stopped by today at 4:30 pm and my order was not ready until 5:00 pm. It was a to go order and they knew I was waiting there. No one called me and I finally checked on my order only to learn that my order was sitting there the entire time cold who knows for how long! The gentleman who came after me to order a steak had his order before mine. My order was simple low mein and pasta so it should not have taken 30 minutes. The guy who took my order was rude and there were two other waitress there so it's not like they were busy with four tables. It seems like they treat customers who order take out not in a friendly way at all. Whatever happened to customer service these days? This is my second worst experience with them for take out orders. First time I didn't write a review but this time I must.
Good food and affordable little spot! Will definitely come back!
Ordered medium rare came raw sent back back raw... Camera fails to capture now bad it was
Food is good, but hard to find a parking spot.
Wonderful, Good food and drinks, unlimited Ice Tea refill, food similar to Hong Kong style cafe in town. ☕️🍵🍹🍸🍺
Afternoon teatime is good deal with free drink and dessert
Good food and price. Service is mediocre, but the food and price makes up for it. Go during lunch specials or late night special (after 9:30 pm) and try the grilled chicken steak!
I have been coming here for years, love their specials! Highly recommended
It's HaiNan Chicken and Ice Coffee is my favorite. Then I will get it's Beef Rib Braised in Red Wine and the Pan-fried Pork Chop
It's busy, it's cheap. You can hv a "feast" spending little $$ to be filled with sort of fast food kinds. Services could be okay or a bit slow. Mgr guy was friendly, as least came asking if I wanna refill on my drink (it comes w/meal) when I almost finished. At least the little egg tarts is better than other places (the popular item, but sorry, as I didn't somehow catch up the English name...雞蛋仔)
Great food and great services!!! My favorite is their Singapore vermicelli. But most important is the staffs that are always down to earth and friendly. We will come back here again and again!! :)
Great spot with good food that every meal comes with a borschat soup. The grilled chicken steak is the best.
The staff of the place are very friendly, and also the quality of food are pretty good. The lunch/after dinner menu (9:30 pm) are the best place to come here because the price are cheap. I do believe grilled chicken/pork-chop are the best suggestion for this place because it serve as big portion (only $9 +tax).
I loved the Udon dish but it's not as good as it used to be...
Very good fried chicken wings!
Good Hong Kong style food! Friendly service!
Good food. Friendly service.
It oper till midnight and than price late is 10-15 for meal.very good for the price
Friendly service and yummy red wine braised steak.
Braised beef, lamb chops and spaghetti. You can't go wrong.
Food is good but waiters are always busy. Love their French style filet mignon cube fried rice and Singaporean fried rice noodles. They have decent coffee but teas are not as good.
Decent Hong Kong food. My favorites: minced beef rice, lo mien dishes (sauce flavored noodles, sides with a clear broth) and the Hong Kong style curry dishes. The double skin streamed custard (made with egg whites and milk) is a must try dessert, which nowhere else can compete. Parking spots are limited. It is a little challenging during rush hours but is fine in the evening.Room for improvement: free WiFi is weak.
Food is great! Service is ok, place is a little dirty like sticky tables and their restrooms.... but one of the best chicken steak and they let you pick curry sauce!
Food has always been good, until last night. Maybe the regular cook was out. Not sure. But some dishes did not have enough flavor, while others had too much salt.
I love the eclectic mix of food at this cafe. It has this mix of Asian food (noodles, rice, soups) and American food (think prime rib, pasta, steak, burgers) at ridiculously cheap prices!I got a plate of beef and veggie chow mein for 7.95 and it was out within minutes. Huge portion, tasted delicious, great service- who could ask for more!?I am really curious about that prime rib though....
I'm biased... I really like Café Spot. The food and the drinks choices are awesome. But the wait services? That leaves a little to be desired.
great authentic Cantonese taste. a bit pricey, though.
1st impression is pretty good. Has a variety of food, Char Chan Tin style. Has two sections. One for formal while the other side has high chairs like a bar, which is ideal for happy hours and a casual drink. Sitting is also available with gas lamp heater.
